Directions to the Delaware River Club

The Delaware River Club Fly Fishing Resort is located in the northeastern most part of Pennsylvania, only one mile upstream from Hancock, New York on the Pennsylvania side of the West Branch of the Delaware River.

From New York City & North Jersey (2 - 2 ½ hours)

Take NY 17 West to Exit 87A for Cadosia/Hancock. Take a left off the exit ramp headed towards Hancock. Stay straight at the traffic light. After approximately ½ mile, take a left onto Pennsylvania Avenue heading towards PA 191. Go over the railroad tracks and cross the bridge (West Branch of Delaware River). Bear right at the ‘Welcome to Pennsylvania' sign onto Winterdale Road. We are located approximately one mile up on the left.

From Philadelphia area (3 hrs)

Take NE extension (Rt. 476 N) of PA Turnpike to Rt. 81, then follow directions from Scranton. (see Scranton)

From Boston and Southern New England (3 – 6 hours)

Take I-84 West to NY 17 West (see New York City & North Jersey)

From Bucks County, PA and Lehigh Valley (2 – 2 ½ hours)

Same as from Philadelphia OR Take PA 33 North to I-80 West. Take Exit 298 (Scotrun). Turn left off the exit onto PA 611 towards Mt. Pocono. PA 196 North to PA 191 North. About one mile past the junction with PA 370, take a left onto Winterdale Road (a very sharp turn). We are located approximately one mile up on the left.

From Baltimore/Washington DC (4-5 hours)

Take I-95 north to PA 476 (blue route) in Philadelphia to the Northeast Extension of the PA Turnpike. Get on I-81 North to Scranton (see Scranton)

From Scranton/Wilkes Barre area (1 hour)

Take Rt. 81N to Exit 206 (PA 374 and Elk Mountain) take PA 374E to PA 171N (be careful, 374 makes many curves and turns, make sure you don't get misled). Take PA 171N to PA 370E to PA 191N and follow until you see the bridge going into Hancock, NY (about 1/2 mi). Make a very sharp left turn onto Winterdale Road just before the bridge at the ‘Welcome to PA’ sign. We are located approximately one mile up on the left.

From Buffalo/Rochester, NY

Take the NYS Thruway I-90 east to 690E to Rt. 81S to Rt. 17E. Take Exit 87 for Cadosia/Hancock, NY. Take a left at the bottom of the exit ramp. Take the first right onto North Front Street and follow the road around to the stop sign. Make a right at the stop sign – go over the railroad tracks and cross the bridge (West Branch of Delaware River). Bear right at the ‘Welcome to Pennsylvania' sign onto Winterdale Road. We are located approximately one mile up on the left.

From Albany, NY

Take the NYS Thruway I-90 west toward Buffalo. Merge onto I-88 west via Exit 25A toward Rt. 7 (Schenectady/Binghamton), Take the Rt-8 South Exit, Exit 9 – toward Masonville. Turn Left onto NY-8 South. Merge onto NY 17 East. Take the Rt. 97 Exit which is Exit 87 toward Rt 268/PA191 to Hancock/Cadosia. Turn left at the bottom of the ramp onto NY 97/West Main Street. Turn right onto West Front Street. Turn Right at the stop sign onto South Pennsylvania Avenue. Cross the railroad tracks and go over the bridge (West Branch of the Delaware River). Bear right at the ‘Welcome to Pennsylvania' sign onto Winterdale Road. We are located approximately one mile up on the left.
